Lower Sioux Indian Community Wacipi/Powwow

The Lower Sioux Indian Community Wacipi/Powwow celebrates the American Indian way of life through cultural elements such as singing, dancing, and intricate outfits. Some other events held during the Wacipi/Powwow include a 3-man scramble golf tournament and a 2K/5K fun run/walk. A variety of vendors are on the powwow grounds throughout the duration of the Wacipi/Powwow, offering crafts and food. This Wacipi/Powwow is annually held on the 2nd full weekend of June.
