Picnic Point County Park is located from Lake Benton 8 miles north on US Hwy 75, then 3 miles west of Lincoln County Hwy 15, and then 1 mile north. The park is 43 acres located on the south side of Lake Shaokatan. The park offers 30 campsites with water and electricity. Also it has sites without hookups. Park has one shelter house, playground equipment, swimming beach, bath house with showers, boat launch, fish cleaning shed, and R.V. dump station.
